Meyers joined Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 2001 as a cast member.
He became co-head writer, later sole head writer, and was a familiar face as an anchor of the Weekend Update segment (first with Amy Poehler and later solo).
During his tenure, he wrote and performed in sketches and impersonations of public figures.
In 2014, Meyers took over as host of Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC.
His show is known for its political monologues and recurring segments like A Closer Look.
The show and Meyers himself have received multiple Emmy nominations, and Late Night has won awards such as the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Talk Show.
Meyers has hosted major award shows including the Primetime Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
He executive produced the animated series The Awesomes and co-created the comedy series Documentary Now! with Fred Armisen and Bill Hader.
