Ron White will be at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on October 23, 2026 for a night of stories, laughs, and the kind of decisions that seem like a good idea at the time.

Ron White is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and author best known for his storytelling style and as one of the original performers in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. His laid-back stage persona, often featuring a cigar and a glass of scotch, helped make him one of the most recognizable comedians of the 2000s.

White spent years performing in comedy clubs after serving in the U.S. Navy before his breakthrough came with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Jeff FoxworthyBill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. Although grouped with the tour’s blue-collar humor, his material generally leaned toward longer, adult-oriented stories about travel, relationships, drinking, and life’s absurdities.

White is widely recognized for his measured delivery, dry wit, and the recurring nickname “Tater Salad,” which comes from one of his best-known routines. His memoir, I Had the Right to Remain Silent But I Didn’t Have the Ability, became a New York Times bestseller, and several of his comedy albums received Grammy nominations for Best Comedy Album.

Beyond stand-up, White has appeared in films including Horrible Bosses and Sex and the City 2, as well as television series such as Roadies and Reno 911!. His conversational storytelling style and distinctive stage persona have made him an enduring figure in American stand-up comedy.
