Combs played his first country music show at the Parthenon Café, and within a month, he left school his senior year to pursue his music career, relocating to Nashville, TN. The Way She Rides was the first EP by Combs that was released in February 2014, followed by another EP entitled Can I Get an Outlaw that came out the same year. Combs’ first single entitled “Hurricane” was released in 2016. The song sold 15,000 copies in its first week and debuted on number 46 on the chart of Billboard Hot Country Songs. This One’s for You was the third EP by Combs that was released in November 2015. Some of his other notable releases include What You See Is What You Get 2019, The Prequel EP 2019, singles “One Number Away,” “She Got the Best of Me,” and “Even Though I’m Leaving.” A few of his notable headlining tours include Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, Don’t Tempt Me with a Good Time Tour, and What You See Is What You Get Tour. Luke Combs is the 2022 CMA Entertainer of the Year and his 2023 tour dates are listed below. The 2023 tour will feature special guests Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry, and Brent Cobb. On March 24, 2023, he dropped Gettin’ Old, his fourth studio album. “Love You Anyway” and “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” were issued as album promos. Less than two months after the album’s release, more than 65 million streams of his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” were logged on Spotify, making it the album’s most famous song.
